Venezuela

A country as beautiful as its paget winners. With Andean peaks, grassy wetlands, river deltas, idyllic islands and coral reefs.

Uruguay

Cheap but very cheerful. It has incredible beaches, fabulous cities and happening nighlife.

Ecuador

Small but fun, it equals its peers in terms of diverse landscapes and outdoor opportunities.

Peru

 Home of the Inca Empire. Its geography varies from the tropical rainforests of the Amazon Basin to the vast arid plains on the Pacific coast and the cloud covered peaks of the Andes.


Trek the Inca trail
If you are feeling adventurous, it is time to hit the Inca trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. A group trek is the safest, most fun way to go and you do not need to be super fit to take part.

Colombia

Despite its dark reputation, Colombia life is bright. Carnivals, cruise ships, elegant port towns and colonial living alongside rich national parks and white sandy beaches.

Chile

 An absolute must for outdoor enthusiasts, Chile is a land of extremes. From the tropical top to the glacial bottom, this country is filled with snow-capped mountains, live volcanoes, whitewater rivers, ice carved fjords, ancient forests, rolling surf as well as the world's driest desert.

Bolivia

 Although South America's poorest country, Bolivia is the richest in terms of indigenous culture. Its contrasting climates and differing landscapes make it a must-see.

Panama

A real Pandora's box, Panama remains the most untouched country in Central America.

Nicaragua

Known as The Land of lakes and volcanoes, Nicaragua's awesome landscape is breathtaking.

Guatemala

This country house many libraries and museums and is famous for its many Maya sites.

Honduras

Fabulous beaches with fantastic diving are all the go here. Not to mention the backpacker mecca of Utila.

El Salvador

Good things come in small packages. El Salvador may be the smallest country in Central America but it is steeped in history and renowned for its great surf and busy nightlife.

Costa Rica

A small but plentiful place with the largest percentage of protected national parks and areas in the world. Adrenaline junkies will find some of the world's fiercest rapids here.

Belize

There is excellent fishing, boating, rafting, kayaking and diving throughout the various jungle and flora and fauna reserves in this region. Many Maya ruins still exist alongside the largest cave system in Central America.
